Fingerprinting / Background Checks...

Since 2008, all volunteers who sign up to coach or umpire, or who want to be on the field at any time to help out, MUST be fingerprinted / background checked as per Winslow Township ordinance. Follow the steps below to complete the process:

• Print and fill out the universal fingerprint form (CLICK HERE)
• The form has been updated to include the Contributors Case #.
• Go to https://nj.ibtfingerprint.com/ and register to make an appointment. Read the instructions in the New Appointment section and click "Start Here" at the bottom left.
• Continue through the application process, location selection, and payment.

The current cost for this service is $24.20 plus tax. (you're right, that's an odd price). That price set by the fingerprinting service and is subject to change.

After your appointment, you will be given a copy of your paperwork and a paid receipt. That will act as a temporary measure to satisfy the ordinance and you will be able to take the field. You must have that paperwork anytime you are on the field. Once you are verified, Winslow Township will provide you with an identification card which will be good for 3 years and will allow you to participate as a volunteer in all Winslow Township youth sporting organizations.
